Here is a photo of the new BBF skein label:

Looks great, eh? Thanks, M. Habit.

And then I filled these

with these

so the first shipment of the Sock Club could get on its way.

  1. I like your labels, both the yarn and blog entry category. Tell me, who wouldn't have a crush on Franklin??

  2. Ohhh, very envious of Sock Club members! I know the Fiber Club rovings will be just as spectacular, though. So I'll be patient. Nice labels- can't wait to see some in person. And ditto Rachel on crushes on Franklin.

  3. Fab labels but, of course, they would be. Can't WAIT for my shipment. I know you crossed info out but I'm sure I saw the beginnings of Auburndale on one of those packages. Mine!!

  4. Okay...I have had just about enough. Franklin, Franklin, Franklin!....argh!

I think QueerJoe has become the Jan Brady of homo knit bloggers.

Franklin's so talented. Franklin's so creative. Franklin's so hot.
    Franklin's so funny.

It's so painful watching a queen grow old and bitter right before your very eyes...isn't it?

  5. I'm sure you can retain the title of Dowager Queen....

  6. Yay! I am excited! It will be my first yarn of the new year (vacation yarn doesn't count, right?).

  7. Queer Joe = Jan Brady nearly put me over the edge! Poor Jan, er Joe, er, whoever ... :-)

Those are mighty nice labels ... obviously Delores did not have input.

  8. I suspect if Dolores helped, you'd find it had a hastily scrawled drawing of sheep va-jay-jay, or some such.

  9. Hey, Lynne, thanks! I didn't know about that...

  10. Me, I have a crush on Joe. And Carol. It's all so sordid, isn't it?

Well, Joe, Franklin might be cute and funny and talented BUT he can't spell. He made the exact same spelling mistake he made with me. F-i-b-r-e. For heavens sake Franklin!
All looking very cool and professional Carol.
    (Really Franklin, lovely job)

  12. Just ordered your last skein of the superwash merino from your etsy sight. Because I need more sock yarn like I need a hole in my head. But I was reading your post about pricing and wanted to compare to other hand dyed sock yarns I buy.

  13. It's here!! The yarn is drop dead gorgeous!! Luminous! Stunning! Have already swatched and can't wait to cast on with it. Many thanks Carol! xx

  14. p.s. Is the bigger yarn label meant to balance out the most extremely tiny (been watching too much Charlie & Lola) business/calling card? xxx
