At first, I thought "Why the fuck would someone want to do that, beyond having a terminal case of the studip?" but reading on, it seems that there is a genuine need that she is trying to fulfill. So I removed my disagree.
I have heard of Manx cats having urinary-tract issues (urethra doesn't form properly) so owners wind up diapering them. (In one case, a cat that was going to be put down because of the issue, a woman said, "Oh, no, I'll take care of him" and proceeded to put preemie-sized diapers on the cat. Which he apparently tolerated).
I suppose in a male cat it might also lead to other things not looking the way they should, or maybe the poster was euphemistically referring to the cats' being incontinent.
But yeah. I'd like to laugh but it feels really churlish to.

ReplyDeleteI know, I'm actually touched that someone would have a kitty with "issues" and not just drop it off at a shelter.
ReplyDeletecat pants
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I have a cat who lost his tail, etc. when he was hit by a car. It's been ten years, and I still love him dearly.
ReplyDeleteHowever, pant alternatives would be interesting to the status quo.
