even though we got hit with a one-two punch from Mother Nature. Around two feet over the weekend, and close to another two feet over the course of the last 36 hours.
While this has created certain logistical difficulties, we still have power and cable and internet, and God knows I've got plenty of yarn, so I am not complaining one bit.
Wow, that's a lot of snow! When I finished my residency in California and took a job in Massachusetts, my dad was horrified. Winters are so bad there! Think of the snow! You should move back to Philly.
ReplyDeleteYou guys have had way more snow in the past 2 winters than I have here in New England.
Good luck keeping the kids entertained!
Yeah, I know it's too much snow when my big dog can get over the chain link fence!
ReplyDeletedamn snow! hate it! 4 feet is 5 feet too much!
ReplyDeleteI too have plenty of yarn AND baked-from-scratch chocolate cake!
Excellent attitude! (bet I could make you complain though. my kids have been home for 2 solid weeks now- you could borrow them...)
ReplyDeleteThink of it as cozy, right? It really is beautiful - and you get to hang out inside without any guilt! for the knitting.
ReplyDeleteNow if we had only had YOUR snow at the beginning of the winter, as is usual, I wouldn't be struggling with a frozen septic field now.
ReplyDeleteYarn and heat and light... that's all you really need, but a toilet that flushes is pretty nice too.
