Rose Petals
In the one-off category, there are two skeins of a very nice kid mohair/wool/nylon blend, so I guess that makes them a two-off?. This was a base yarn I used for one of my sock clubs and I had a couple of extra skeins of it. It would make a nice warm pair of socks but also would be great for a scarf or shawlette. And introducing two new BBF patterns: the Lucy socks:
and for those of you who feel an overwhelming urge to knit a yarmulke or kippot, the Yarmulke Duo (one version uses beads; the other does not).
Now I will finish up my Rhinebeck saga with one last montage of images....
If you had posted that kippot pattern a month or so ago, I might have been tempted to add it to my Bat Mitzvah to do list. DD became a BM last Saturday, so it's too late (thank god).
ReplyDeleteThis is too painful! Look what you went and did with the CashSock: four -- count 'em, four -- greens from the woman who does the best greens around. I need a dartboard so I can make a random selection instead of suffering through the furious debate that starts up inside my head each time I think I've finally decided. I really can't buy four. That would be excessive even for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the gorgeous Rhinebeck photos! Wish I could've been there.
ReplyDeleteThat Red Roses is gorgeous.
Duuuuuuuuuude! Sheeeeeeeeeeep! *calms down slightly* Is it possible to go back to being sane?
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pumpkins! And the yarn is so pretty! It would be one of those situations where I would say to myself "yes...I will knit with you soon...but for now I just want to look at you". Those socks are so pretty too!!
