Happy Birthday, Tom!

Happy birthday to my dear, sweet husband!

When I look at this photo, from about fifteen years ago, I am struck by just how many gray hairs I put on that poor man's head.

Anyhow, I very much adore my husband and this is the one day of the year when I truly appreciate my mother-in-law, for giving birth to such a great guy.

I would also be remiss if I did not wish happy birthday to Alec Baldwin, Doris Day, Tony Orlando, Marlin Brando and Wayne Newton. "Danke schöen..."

  5. So he's sandwiched right in between me and Joe, eh? I'll leave the innuendo on that one to Joe, but there are definite possibilities. :-) Many happy returns of the day.

Oh, and I'm with Franklin on Wayne Newton.

  6. Wow...does that mean that he's a blend between the smart, funny and animal-loving Dr. Mel, and the sharp-tounge, catty queen, QueerJoe?

Or does that just mean he's the meat in our scrumptious sandwich?

Does he have that sexy Chris Isaacs sort of bent nose?...God I love that man (Tom...not Chris...well, both).

okay...shut up now Joe...you're starting to get dorky.

Oh...one more thing...your son looks a lot like him in that picture...no?

    okay...shutting up now...for now anyway.
