Adowable pet stowy awert: Tom taught Charcoal a new trick. When you put your head down by his pen and say "Gimme a kiss," he will come over and lick your nose. (Charcoal, not Tom.) It just doesn't get any cuter than that.
In the meantime, G.'s surgery is tomorrow at 11 a.m., so you probably won't hear from me until the weekend. Thank you for all your good thoughts.

Ah yes...when I was a freshman in high school I had a rabbit that used to do the same thing. His name was Brian, and he was the best French Angora buck a 4-H rabbit showing sort of girl could have. He was also full of personality. I loved him beyond measure. Then one day he decided that I was being overly familiar and instead of planting a loving little kiss on my nose he bit it instead. Imagine being 14 and having to explain teeth marks on your nose to your classmates....
