Tom: We really have to fix that broken towel rack before Franklin gets here.
Carol: Does your old Mac notebook still work?
Tom: No.
Carol: We better get it fixed before Franklin comes -- he prefers a Mac.
Tom: If he brings his own, he'll be able to use our wireless internet!
Elvis: Am I going to like Franklin?
Tom: Of course! I like him and I've never even met him.
Carol: Plus if you're nice to him, he'll teach you curse words in Latin.
As you may or may not know, when Franklin makes his Philadelphia-area debut at Wool Gathering for the 1,000 Knitters Project, the weekend of April 19th, he will be staying with me. Me, me, me! Nanny-nanny-poo-poo! [insert raspberry sound]
Don't worry, I shall share.
A little bit.
But I am excited.
A lot. (Scroll way, way down to the bottom of my blog to see exactly HOW excited I am.)
Tom: Do you think there will be screaming hordes of knitters running up and down our street, like when they chase Ringo in that Beatles movie?
Carol: Maybe I better call the township to see if we can borrow some traffic cones.

Wow, I have been coveting your life for some time now--excellent husband, lovely children, groovy bunny, and of course, fantastic fiber, but now this!!! It is too much for one girl!
I kid--thanks so very much for letting us know. I am clearing my schedule for this because I too love Franklin and I want to thank him in person for all he has done for me and my knitting and my web-design class....
you are a sick little monkey! LOL
I would also chase ringo starr down any street; have had a crush on him from waaaaaaay back.
I will not parade down your street, but will be content to see the one and only franklin at the yarn shop. oh yeah, and get my picture taken. then I shall swoon!
Your blog and Franklin's simply make my day. The convergence of you and Franklin is almost too much to consider...very powerful stuff. Savor each moment and share them with us...who are far away from Philly...in so many ways. From Montana,
Suzanne
Ah, that Franklin, he seems to bring out everyone's squeeing fangirl, doesn't he?
Lucky ducky!
I am sooo jealous.
I hope you guys have a great time, but not too great, ya know? 'Cuz I can't be there.
Oh, to be a fly one the wall.
(and the ticker at the bottom is a riot)
Oooo, it may be time for a road trip...!
Sounds like your house has become *the* place to stay in the area when knitting celebs visit!
I just hope Dolores doesn't try to steal Tom ...
Hmm, maybe I'll make an apptmt at the vet for Dolores. Isn't it about time she was spayed?
I'm so jealous this text should be green.
Hilarious!
I'll try not to be too jealous, since I was at the Lansing shoot.
But staying with you? Squeeee!
You stink.
Geez, Kath, you live 15 minutes from me. LIke you can't come and sleep over???
How fun. Just keep him away from the bird feeder. ;)
Do you have room for that certain sheep and her entourage, too??
Okay, then. Done and done. Can we do makeovers?
You all just really have no idea how much I needed this right this minute.
And however excited y'all may be to see me, I'm even more excited to see you.
I'm a lucky, lucky man. Thanks for reminding of that.
Oh, and Kathy, Dolores says she'll bring her hot rollers if you bring the makeup.
Um, Kath? No offense to Dolores, but um, I'd bring my own mascara if I were you.
Oof-hay and-ay outh-may isease-day...
I know Pig Latin - you think I live with him for nothing???
-D
PFFFFFFFFTTTTTTT! I'll see Franklin AND Dolores Tuesday and glad of it!
I'm especially glad to finally be delivering a long overdue holiday gift! I may have to leave early (moving on FRIDAY, SOMEONE HELP ME TURN OFF THE NIGHT LIGHT PLEASE) but looking forward to it!
