I think the picture of you is quite attractive! And while I didn't read it very closely, this might be the first article about knitting in a mainstream publication that didn't say anything about grandmothers and rocking chairs.
So great! I saw the article (I think) you wrote for the Delware County community paper. Usually I just check out the police blotter, but you had me reading an actual article! Way to go.
Great photo! You look awesome! Also, thank you for looking after my son at Woolgathering so I could buy some yarn. I joked with my husband when I got home that he is such a ladies man-I was only gone a few minutes and he had charmed the ladies to take him out of his stroller and walk him around the shop!!!
What a great article! As others mentioned, it manages to write about knitters without acting all shocked that these are normal women (and maybe men) of all ages. Way to go!
Featuring patterns for sock yarn --for things other than socks -- from designers like Veronik Avery, Franklin Habit, Laura Grutzeck, MMO, Brooke Nico, Tanis Gray, Barb Brown, and more, published by Lark Crafts and available now.

SQUEE!
do you have to be a member of ravelry to join this worthwhile cause?
not bad, and a decent picture of you.
Smile - at least it sounds like this writer spent more than 5 minutes...
GREAT picture!!
I think it's a nice picture, and I must say that I'm amused that your hair is just oh-so-slightly windblown ...
What a terrific idea!
Right on!
How cool is that?
Wow! More power to you.

Nice pic. At least the article took the whole thing semi-seriously and yes, no mention of grandmas. I've read worse.
Um, hello? That is friggin' awesome. And you look friggin' awesome.
And they do mention grannies, but at the end and in a positive light. I'm okay with that.
And Anne Marie? Yes, you have to join Ravelry to do this. :op
