Feast your eyes

I'm tired, I'm achy, I'm sunburned and I'm a bit poorer, but I'm also very happy. Rhinebeck was wonderful and I'm thankful I was able to go. Tonight, before I collapse into my bed, I'll leave you with this set of photos. One of the overwhelming things about a festival like Rhinebeck is the constant barrage of input to your senses. It's inspiring but also exhausting. This will give you a flavor of the kinds of images that one sees and remembers.

I was so tempted to ask them how much their "gaint" pumpkin weighed. I only noticed the sign this morning and it cracked me up.

It was so good to get to meet you, brief though it was. Getting to see people is what really makes this festival fun.

thanks for sharing.

I just finished reading marilyn's blog; I like the fact that she got the people pix and you captured the fiber pix.

one of these years I need to get up there....

glad you had a good time!

Wow...I loved seeing these pictures, and I was there!

Wonderful being with you on Saturday. When are you coming up for a Twist visit?

It was so much fun meeting you! I'll post some pics of the Autumn Leaves scarf on my blog and on the Hopaliong site as soon as I get five minutes of free time in the daylight.

Very glad to meet you on Saturday, and I'm sorry my need to run and rescue little and big persons from the Mad Scientist show (aie...) made the time so short.

I bought some of that camel-silk roving. I'm in love :-)

I'm so glad someone else noticed the "gaint" pumpkin!

I missed meeting you there, but maybe next year!

When civilization collapses, Carol, I'm heading to your house. I figure in exchange for my skills in looting food for your family and fighting off zombies, you can knit me some warm colorful clothes.

Oh, John, you are welcome any time. And don't forget: we have a bomb shelter in our backyard.
Seriously.

Love seeing all the photos everyone brings back...so thank you! I always feel jealous as everyone writes about leaving for these things, but once the stories and the photos start cropping up, the envy is replaced with inspiration.

The gaint pumpkin gives us laughing fits, and one of my young companions even named her new bear Gerhart Gaint. It was great to run into you there on Sun morning!

We poor unwashed who didn't get to go to Rhinebeck thank you for the wonderful pictures, ma'm. Can we have some more, please, ma'm?

I saved the picture of the angora sweater to my hd. Gonna use that genius two-stranded blending in something.

Yes, Twist party!! I'm always up for it and Carol, you do need to see this place.

Much fun this weekend, girlie.

Thanks for posting the photos, Carol. Now I know why I didn't see you--you were behind the camera. I did love that
lace sampler!
