I'm tired, I'm achy, I'm sunburned and I'm a bit poorer, but I'm also very happy. Rhinebeck was wonderful and I'm thankful I was able to go. Tonight, before I collapse into my bed, I'll leave you with this set of photos. One of the overwhelming things about a festival like Rhinebeck is the constant barrage of input to your senses. It's inspiring but also exhausting. This will give you a flavor of the kinds of images that one sees and remembers.

I was so tempted to ask them how much their "gaint" pumpkin weighed. I only noticed the sign this morning and it cracked me up.
It was so good to get to meet you, brief though it was. Getting to see people is what really makes this festival fun.

Love seeing all the photos everyone brings back...so thank you! I always feel jealous as everyone writes about leaving for these things, but once the stories and the photos start cropping up, the envy is replaced with inspiration.
The gaint pumpkin gives us laughing fits, and one of my young companions even named her new bear Gerhart Gaint. It was great to run into you there on Sun morning!
