I did have a nice relaxing weekend -- including a dinner out with Tom on Saturday night -- and feel much less prone to committing child abuse today. I do find that trying to laugh about it with my blog-friends is the best antidote to these awful, stressful times.
In the meantime, I've been dyeing and website-building. Today will be my first update on the new dot cahm.
There's some wool/nylon sock, a few Corriedale blend sock, a few DK merinos and some rovings. Please be patient in case there are things that don't go perfectly smoothly. I need to throw out a huge mea culpa to my non-United States friends: right now, the website is only accepting U.S. orders but I hope to have that fixed soon. After today's update I'm going to tinker with it some more.

Hahahahaha!!! Poor Ken. My kids used to rip Barbie's head off, give her a haircut, and use her as a punk pencil topper. Thanks for that great image, I laughed out loud!
There's an R rated joke about Barbie... Let's see if I can remember. (I am the WORST joke teller on the planet.)
Well-meaning adult is talking a child about her Barbie doll and Barbie's friends. The child says Barbie wants her to get a GI Joe next.
The adult asks, "Doesn't Barbie come with Ken?"
The child answers, "Ken's her boyfriend, but she comes with GI Joe."
Your post brought back many great memories from my childhood of Barbie and Ken abuse. I'm probably on some kind of Mattel's Most Wanted list!

I used to behead all my Barbie and Ken dolls, drive them out to the burial site in my Tonka flatbed truck, dig a hole with my Tonka backhoe, and bury them. Then I'd make grave markers out of popsicle sticks tied together. I hate dolls to this day.
I'm glad to hear someone else is having problems with their website (not that I wish problems upon you). My store opened this past weekend, and we're still fixing bugs and things that went wrong. So much work! But it's my passion, so it's worth it. Good luck with yours!

My just-turned-8 daughter told me we could give away her Barbies and stuff (which fill an entire under-bed box) because 'I don't play with them any more.' Fine by me!
